After studying psychology at Regensburg and at the Technical University of Berlin, she defended her doctorate there on the topic: Childhood and puberty in people with a schizophrenic structure: a qualitative study of patients and their families.

This was followed by additional training as a psychoanalyst, depth psychologist and group psychotherapist with appropriate medical certification.

In addition to her teaching and therapeutic work, she works as a lecturer, training analyst and supervisor at the state-recognized institutions of the German Academy for Psychoanalysis in Berlin and Munich and at the dynamic psychiatric clinic Menterschwaige.

After completing the habilitation in medical psychology at the Research Psychoneurological Institute named after V.M. Bekterev in St. Petersburg, she teaches there as a lecturer and supervisor in psychodynamic therapy procedures and is active throughout Russia as part of her postgraduate education.

Research and interests are in schizophrenia, transgenerational transmission from trauma, androgyny, creativity and happiness. She also focuses on the topic "Identity and the Group", where her research and therapy work is based on a holistic understanding of your personality.
