Doctor of Medical Sciences, PhD, Professor, Chief Researcher of the Biopsychosocial Therapy Department of the Federal State Budget Institution V.M. Bekhterev National Research Medical Center for Psychiatry and Neurology.

Graduated from the Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute in 1964.

1999 y. Doctor of Medical Sciences "The significance of psychosocial factors in the etiopathogenesis of schizophrenia and social adaptation of patients."

1981 y. PhD "Peculiarities of remissions in low-progressive schizophrenia."

In 2002 he was awarded the academic title of professor.

At the present time: V.M. Bekhterev national research medical center for psychiatry and neurology as Chief Researcher.

Before: the Children's Psychiatric Hospital No. 9 in Leningrad (1964-1972 yy.).

He is the author of more than 300 scientific works and publications (including 11 monographs, numbers of guidelines and manuals for doctors). Under his leadership 8 candidate's dissertations and 1 doctoral dissertation were defended with him acted as scientific advisor.
