Before: after graduating from Leningrad State University, she worked as a medical psychologist in the city psychiatric hospital No. 3, in the department of rehabilitation therapy for the mentally ill and in the laboratory of clinical psychology of the Psychoneurological Research Institute. V.M. Bekhterev, where she combined the work of a practical psychologist and a senior researcher at the Institute. V.M. Bekhterev with teaching the course of clinical psychodiagnostics as an associate professor of the Department of Medical Psychology of the St. Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Scientific interests are in the field of theory and practice of psychological diagnostics in clinical and preventive medicine, more than 290 scientific papers have been published on this topic. She is the supervisor of 9 candidate and 1 doctoral dissertations.
